Russel (played by Tom Cullen) is a homosexual man who lives in fear of being discovered by others. He carefully conceals his true self in crowds, making sure not to give anything away. One weekend night, after attending a gathering with friends, he decides to visit a gay bar in search of a one-night stand. This is where he meets Glen (played by Chris New). After their passionate encounter, Glen asks Russel to record his thoughts on sexuality. Glen, an artist who works at an art gallery, sparks a deep intellectual connection with Russel. They meet several more times, engaging in discussions about their pasts, their lives, and their perspectives on homosexuality. Russel begins to learn about Glens radical ideas on same-sex relationships.Soon, Glen reveals that he is planning to study in the United States. On the farewell party night, Russel and Glen sneak away, seeking a few precious moments of solitude together. The next day, as Glen prepares to leave, Russel finds himself torn between attending his friends daughters birthday party and chasing after Glen. Overwhelmed by his feelings, Russel ultimately decides to go after Glen and express his true emotions.This British film premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas in March 2011 and received critical acclaim for its honest portrayal of a homosexual relationship.
